Built the Cavallo Technologies website from scratch during an internship, now maintained full-time. React, Vite, and TailwindCSS on the front end, WordPress as a headless CMS via WPGraphQL, deployed on Azure. Also manage ongoing content, case studies, blog posts, and team updates, across the website and LinkedIn.

Cavallo Technologies is a Databricks-certified data and AI consulting firm, working with major banks, transportation companies, and educational institutions to help them modernize their data systems and adopt AI. Their clients trust them with high-stakes, highly regulated work, so the website needed to project the same level of credibility.
From Intern Project to Full-Time Ownership
This one has a bit of a longer story behind it. I built the Cavallo Technologies website from the ground up, design and development, alongside a peer during our internship. Now, as a full-time employee, we're the ones who keep it running: maintaining the site, adding new content, and making sure it keeps pace with the company as it grows.
Design & Development
We started in Figma, mapping out the design before writing a single line of code. The final build runs on React with Vite and TailwindCSS, deployed on Azure. For content management, we integrated WordPress as a headless CMS, connected through WPGraphQL, so the front end stays fast and flexible while the team can update content without touching code.
Going Dynamic
Working with WordPress was the real turning point on this project. It was my first time pulling dynamic data through the WordPress API, which opened the door to a few things I hadn't tackled before: setting up content caching to keep load times fast, and adding multilingual support through the PolyLang plugin. ACF rounded things out, giving the team flexible custom fields for managing page content.
Ongoing Content: Website & LinkedIn
Beyond the build, I manage regular content updates requested by the senior team: case studies, blog posts and articles, and team updates, publishing both to the website through WordPress and to LinkedIn. This happens at least once or twice a week, keeping the company's presence active and current across both channels.
The Result
A fast, dynamic, multilingual-ready website that Cavallo Technologies can grow into, built by us as interns and now maintained by us as full-time team members. It's a rare kind of project: one where you get to see your own work mature alongside the company it represents.
